Cheese is so rare around these parts. This is the land of Grapes, Granddaddy Purple, and Girl Scout Cookies.. or was, seems like just about everything is floating around here nowadays except cheese ?
It would be unfair of me to judge the strain by those bonsais but overall it was fairly unremarkable. I still harbor a bit of contempt as it was dumb to flower all of them out but once I was committed there wasn't much I could do but take them to the end.
Sorry about the car woes, sounds like the Fiat. It was a fun car for five years then started getting real expensive just to keep on the road.
Are your FCC's done? I don't recall seeing a post on them or maybe was just too tired and stoned.
No Cheese at all ??? Bro.... That's just sad LOL. If you ever come in for a visit, I'll have you smoking some nice Cheesy buds
Now, as for flowering out in a Solo cup yeah, the size and limitations on Roots would I'm guessing lead to very small plants, though, with it being Cheese, I imagine they still had some decent buds at least ?
Yeah the Car is....It's over LOL, we had Computer replaced like just over a year ago, got the front brakes and calipers and all that done like a month or so ago, and the back ones started going.... New Tires all around too so it's a real smack on the ass with a Cactus haha. We're going to check out a used Jeep today though so I'm Hopeful
The Fiona's Chem Cake are both about ready to finish pulling from now, and we're going to be doing that this week while the weather isn't "snow" haha. Fiona's Chem Cake #1 still has a decent amount of the plant outside (She's almost black now) and #2 is mostly still outside and turning a lovely Purple, but I've only taken a rack or two of tops off that one.
There's still a lot of those two to harvest though which, given the amount we've already got curing in a 1 pound grove bag of #1, is leaning towards the land of "over a pound" for each plant. I'm LOVING that strain I must say; I know you said that Covid had made it hard to smell things well for you, which sucks bro cause there are some subtle little nuances about her that are wonderful in my opinion. I left a lot of these two outside so I could have a "normal pull" and a "more amber color" pull to see the differences between them which I quite like doing with some strains.
The #1 in the Grove Bag is coming a long nicely though with that spicy gas and chemicals thing going which is just lovely for me!
LOL yesterday the Wife and I both smoked mainly #1 ALL day (I think she had a joint of Gelato #33 in there somewhere, but mostly we smoked FCC #1) and the Wife said at one point "We have to drive into town so I'm done hitting this joint" and I'm like OK no problem I'll finish it up haha. Then we talked about the difference between Chem D and FCC, and the Wife made me laugh about this:
Wife said the FCC was wonderful, and that it was OK to drive on as she could smoke a little less, and even though the body high of the FCC was pretty heavy, her mental ability wasn't affected like it is with Chem D; She said Chem D was like actual alcohol in that it's a "dumb high" where she doesn't like driving when we're smoking that one, but the FCC was totally fine even if it might affect reaction time. We're both loving it though, and he FCC #2 I have pulled so far that was dry enough to jar, is curing quite nice I must say
The smell and taste kind of reminds me of Chem D, but with a more peppery thing going on. Chem D when it's first chopped doesn't have that super pungent smell like some of the Cheese has, and the smell seems to really change a lot in the jar. Last season it started out smelling like Pencil shavings and burnt Rubber, and then as it cured, it totally changed to very little burnt rubber, and a whole lot of .... Chemical "generic lemon cleaning product" and at one point, even a little "Fruity Pebbles in Milk but you just cleaned the table with lemon cleaning product" as it had a slight creamy thing going on.
I also have to pull tops from the Black Lime Special Reserve out there as I haven't touched it yet. BBHP is similar, which we need to check resin on because she's so bulky with buds that bud rot has taken a toll already, but, there's so much of her that I'm not too worried.
BBHP, Chem D, and GMO were right next to each other, and after a storm Chem D #1 laid over top of GMO causing me to lose about 5 branches to bud rot, and then after chopping those off and tossing them, and pulling tops from Chem D #1 it has opened up a decent amount and hopefully will prevent more rot issues. BBHP I lost like 2 or 3 branches on to bud rot, which, that's OK, it happens.
We have two clones of GMO to harvest too and it's probably about time to check the Susie Cream Cheese!!! She's been doing great and I'm looking forward to finally trying that but not a single branch snapped off..... Kinda like that "Psychobilly Cheese #1"; She had stretched because she was behind the GMO and Susie, so the tops got heavy as Cheese often does, and she fell over and landed on a Chem D #1 clone a couple times.... Snapped like 3 branches off the Chem D clone but we didn't lose a single branch of the "Psychobilly Cheese" (I'll say that's a working title LOL) but that's pretty normal; I've had Blue Cheese plants get knocked over a bunch of times in storms, but haven't to date ever lost a branch off them.
I'll get some pics over the next few days as we start harvesting more of what is left outside. I have two Chem D clones that have VERY little left, and the Wife was like "Just toss the rest it's only a few buds" and I'm like "WTF???? That's Chem D!" hahaha. So yes I have two clones in pots with like 1 or 2 branches left....Maybe 4 buds total left on them.... LOL.
