Thanks man! Yeah, it happens. The surprising thing here is how virile the pollen was. Pretty sure it was the Chick Magnet just based off the timing. The Apple Sundae appears to have been sterile. I've had plenty of herms over the years but they usually only get themselves or a nearby gal... never had a whole tent go to seed from just a few nanners before.

It's on me too. Intersex plants are a fact of life in this hobby. I put a lot on my plate and wasn't as vigilant as I should've been. This is a good reminder to inspect the plants more frequently.
 
So I was pretty frustrated last night seeing the extent of the damage but being frustrated isn't helpful so it's time for a hearty dose of PMA...



This incident frees up a lot of space. I've got 9 plants ready to flip so they'll fill the flower tents but that's gonna leave me with a bunch of empty space in veg, even with all the seedlings I have going, so I think I'm gonna get started on a few projects I've been thinking about pursuing over the next couple weeks. Probably drop a few more Kokusho. A variety of gear from some of you fellow pHunters and some stuff I've purchased. Also considering dropping the seeds from the Hippy Slayer 33 x GMO BX1 chuck I did a while back... I only got like 6 seeds so I'd probably be looking to F2 them if they look good. Could simultaneously make a Hippy Slayer BX1. Really just gonna make a ton of Hippy Slayer chucks lol. I wasn't gonna bother with these because the GMO BX1 was kind of a finicky plant but my friends keep bugging me to drop them because they liked both strains so much...

Also going to do a preservation run either with some F2s of modern classics that I got from Useful or I may finally break into my TGA packs and F2 those. I'll probably make a poll here and see what interests you all when I get around to this one.
 
Also, if the HS33 x GMO BX1 cross pans out I already have a name...FVK (Fearless Vampire Killers).... consider it trademarked lol. Going all in on the Bad Brains references today! The Sharon Tate reference may be a little dark for some but if you hadn't noticed, we're a bit facetious over here...

Dairy Queen, Purgatory and Qrazy Train.... I had to go look, I can never remember if that last one is Querkle or Qrazy Train lol
 
Bad N Boujee from Solfire... really happy with this one so far. Both plants have massive, thick stems. This one is further along and is putting out some rock solid nugs with a crazy meat and lime smell, like a can of Mary Kitchen corned beef mixed with lime zest or something 20210521_230152.jpg20210521_230205.jpg20210521_230159.jpg

And here's the Butterscotch Whiskey... she's pretty seedy but I think I'm gonna let her finish because I'm so curious what this strain holds... long spears of nug that smells like an extra sweet old fashioned just like the name suggests 20210521_230221.jpg

Same bs here , I raised my light , cranked the exhaust. Wife's gonna laugh at me when I tell her I need a light . Lol
 
Damn, Craigslist always breaks my heart when it comes to grow lights.... found a used HLG 650R for $550 less than an hour from me. Was virtually about to leave to go pick it up and the dude texted someone else had come by first... what the fuck. At least I wasn't halfway there but damn, I was stoked for a minute there

Are you running at night or during the day? I just switched to night runs since we now live in the deep south (minus 100% humidity) starting in May lol. I need to move the cmh out soon and get my qb’s in too
