I figured I’d start this up to lock myself into what I’m growing next. I’m planning on popping these in fourteen days, but could end up being seven to ten days. Hopefully one hundred pop. Ha. They’ll be in coco under two LEDs. Two trays. Start in little seedling pots for seven or so days. Then half gallon bags for seven or so days. Finally, into two gallon bags with about a gallon and a half of coco and flipped in two to three days. Seeds will be these:6059C866-F654-4D99-BC23-DA72A552DB3D.jpeg
 
Thinking about getting an Apogee meter, but they’re not cheap and it would suck to spend that much to get readings for thirty minutes and then toss it in a drawer to collect dust. Not sure about the cheaper sketchier meters and whatnot. Feel if I’m going to get the readings I want to be sure they’re accurate. Always something sucking money out of my account. Anyways, anyone use those Floraflex pumps? Need a new pump and wouldn’t mind saving a few bucks. Thanks for any info!

I just use the app on my phone.. it’s not an apogee, but it works! ?? ( there are a few different apps now actually, I think you can find one that suits)..

Agreed, although I do not believe that will happen.

The human brain is fantastic at recognizing benchmarks.
- You could probably draw me a line about 12 in long
-you could probably put sand in a bucket until it weighed about 5 lb
-you could probably geuss when an hour of time has passed.
- you can go outside and tell me approximately how warm it is .

Interestingly, the brain can only make assumptions on brightness. Even as there is no incremented memory of luminosity, the brain can be just as bad perceiving in real time. For example: you look at a canopy and it appears to be evenly lit, you pull out the meter and you start seeing readings that are only 30% of peak luminosity.
The meter may tell you that a certain patch is twice as bright ,and to the eyes it appears the same.
I have owned an Apogee meter for years, and it surprises me every time I pull it out.


Also , on pumps.
The pump that you posted appears to be a pressure pump, as opposed to a volume pump. For that kind of money you think they would give you an output graph. If you're looking at pumps in that price range you cannot go wrong with Iwaki.

Hahaha. Right on folks. I understand how pumps and irrigation works. I was just curious if anyone had used those Floraflex submersible pumps and how they were. Also, I’m not one to dick around in the grow. I really just care about the end product. As little time as I can spend in there, the better. I go in once a day for maybe two minutes to dump the runoff, dump the dehumidifier, and look at the plants. So, I’m pretty sure an Apogee will end up in the drawer, but I’ll still end up getting one most likely. Thanks for the info!
 
Alright, this run will be done by the 30th at the latest and I’ll get the seeds soaking then. Decided not to order any more beans, so I’ll just toss in some Doc D beans. Those Black Triangle x Dragon Energy were nice. That BT x DE, Chem 91 x Afkanastan/X18 Pakistani, Tahoe OG x Thunder Gun Express, and Overflo x Afkanastan/X18 Pakistani are what I’d pop from him this go. No hazes this time. Probably be BT x DE and the Tahoe OG cross that I pop.

I’d advise people to get some T1000 crosses from CSI, because they’re great. I’ve run packs of it crossed to Chem D, Bubblegum, TK, Pure Kush, Original Glue, Mendo Purps, and GSC. They’ve all been solid plants. No culled plants or intersex from any of them, which is impressive and kind of odd with the genetics. Just pure luck on the no sacs thing with Chem D, GSC, and Glue genetics in there. Always a scratch off with seeds. I just don’t think people would be upset with T1000 beans.

I didn’t get finished getting the plants into the freezer, so I’ll wait to soak seeds. Sucks putting yourself on the clock as soon as you drop them in.

100% agreed, I did a round of csi sisters wifey and that strain had a perfect balance of both moms , all pheno’s were good, no hermies and easy to grow. next round I think I’ll try my pack I got of Durban poison x T1000.

you can def tell csi put some effort and picked a good pheno and it’s cemented down.
