reason: at least for my state, the grower must pay for transportation, distribution than go to lab test , than back to distribute . If approved than to clubs. this is also why everything is min ( at least for everyone I asked and bags i grabbed) 4-12 months before sold. This makes sense why if they aren’t not using n infusment and misc to keep fresh that these pre-rolls and premeasured bud is sooo dry but also no terps.

another factor is the price of all this testing/distro and transportation and taxes that many companies even use very expensive radiation/uv cleaning machines and no matter what the bud is “ clean” but the con is it’s also been de-terpEd and also heavily damaged.

many states laws are so unlogical but require such lab grade meds its required the true core of good quality and more money towards unlogical bs

in my town the biggest greenhouse company in my state has 3 of these and a huge staff that all they do is stuff in buds and “clean” them

500k-2million for one of those.. ive heard nothing but terp killer but companies website it won’t? hmm I wish I could try one
 
I grow more than I could ever smoke but I like variety, and to try different growers products
•Awful flower from the Virginia med dispensary $65 1/8. The product is so poor Chemdawg & Gorrilla Glue flower tests sub 20%. The rosin is phenomenal but @ $ 90 gram. The are required to deliver statewide so the state rosin man has to make the 200 mile round trip every couple weeks to my house lol.
•I swing into DC about once a month, $280 zip frommed dispensary Gelato or a good Sour Diesel. Others run $50-55 1/8. They load you up with coupons so the price is always better. •DC Grey market has phenomenal bud if you know where to look, $280 zip. Tourists pay $65-90 a 1/8 at the "gifting shops"
• Here in VA I think most of the zips run about $300 from your guy up the street. Still lots of Colorado & Cali A/ AA bud.

Nice thread, this seems about right in northern VA too. I dropped my prices down to about 250 a zip and my buddies can still make something from it. Once in a while they will say such an such is bringing some back from the dispensaries or NY but it’s never the quality, freshness or variety i give them.

We actually don't have a legal rec market here, just medical, home grow & gifting for now. The medical dispensaries are basically vertically integrated but they can purchase product from other dispensaries in the state. The 5 dispensaries are all owned by big canna & they won't improve quality until it hits them in the pocketbook.
 
$200 to $250 a zip lately........more if you have the right audience :) But ham and egger's are selling for $200, there is also plenty of Michigan & Colorado weed around that is simply being priority mailed in @ $100 a zip.........millenials came up with this tact...they can flip 3 for $200 ea, smoke one and still have $200 to party with. I've never seen anything sold under $200 yet locally.

The weed is beautiful.......They give nary a rat's ass, how it's made. It's beautiful because there is competition for the business/sales. The prices may be crappy but the growers are not. Go back and read some of the numbers BH put up for Michigan.....they are out there :) This market will look a lot different in 5 years........these prices might just be the good ole days...... ;)

Here in okie ville ounces are going for 150 in the free market i dont know anyone that smokes dispo shit its all mostly trash greenhouse weed lol were so flooded they are advertising 16 carts for 90 bucks on the radio ??? all the dispos out here just wanna buy the cheapest shit they can get there hands on then overcharge for the crap, works out great though cuz if you can roll out quality indoor 200 all day if it's stinky
 
don't really know -it's been 20 years since I had them concernes and after reading this post I'm glad WOW the prices, wondwer if they will stillincrease due to the present day issues (inflation, ect) just think if one smokes 1 oz a week - @ $300 x's 4 = 1,200 dollars or $90.00 x's 4 = $350.00 a month fun of fun realyy costs-a-lot.. cultivation is the answer as long as one doesn't go crazy and spend a lot of money on nutrients, teas, ect (now that were one spends the money !!!!!!)
