was never a fan of "autos" grew some many years ago , very poor yields BUT now-a-days autos have really taken some growing steps - very larg yields (FastBuds and Ethos) sometimes I put an auto with my fem photo's and grow them as "photo's - get a small yield before the photos' harvest - starting to consider them Question: cheaper to run autos at 18/6 0r 20/4 or photo's at 18/6 to 12/12 == three months of light vs 4 months (guess I answered my own question- longer flower time more electricity ????

In my opinion you can save a little, running solely autos but I run a perpetual auto garden and a photo garden at the same time so I can’t say I save much, I veg all my photos along side the autos in the same room, I harvest anywhere from 4 to 6 autos every 3 weeks or so, I run my photos in another room I don’t do 12/12 I run my flower room at 11/13, I have never noticed less yield or any difference in the plants, growth wise, same with autos I run them 17/7 I have run them at 16/8 with no changes in growth or yield. In my opinion, I use HLG’s 288 boards and Optics XL’s which are extremely bright for the plants once the plants reach their maximum light intake for that day, I don’t think running the lights longer in the day period has any value. They don’t use the extra light in my opinion or experience.
I would say to give autos a try along side your vegging photos, don’t treat them any different you will be surprised, there are some fine auto breeders on site welcome to share, give it a try @Hawkman

have tried mmany different light cycles over the years and totaly agree with what you said - For autos going to give them a go this next "go-a-round" now who's seed - listen to a podcast with Ethos (owner) is all-in with auto grows (have a few of their auto freebies) seen some really big FastBuds auto's - have chek out this site sa you mentioned - read a study about plants light requirements forget the mim of dark and light also seems the at 11/13 you can shorten the transition stage (plant rooting- increased !)

you know MassMedical's "Mr> E" -- has some of the RKS taste in it - grew it a few times - it is very close ( have a few seeds left ?) alsdo have experience with Star Pupil and 5 Star looking for that "taste" the two mentioned strains are Thai x Afghan x Packistan phenos are good but Mr E is better at least for me FYI

I promise you this aint shit. You know how many folks with the know how, time, and resources have tried to recreate this roadkill skunk smell that so many "reminisce" about? Duke aint done it, Bodhi aint done it. Not in the sense that you can find "rks" with any consistancy. Its pretty much a marketing gimmick at this point.

If somebody orders this and finds it, i'll fuckin eat my words for breakfast lunch and dinner, but until then I'm confident with my position.

There's a guy on RIU who claims he's burying dead skunks in his pots and thinks that may help. Maybe he's on to something...

(100% I'm actually with you on this one. I'll believe someone has RKS when @Schwaggy P tells me so and not a second sooner)

I firmly believe that it is purely a marketing trick, its like when somebody refers to themselves as "exclusive" or "elite". They're offering nothing but an opportunity to part you from your money.
