Smell App

I’m sure many of us have thought of this in one way or another. It would seem very difficult to emulate a complex smell let alone an app for it. But perhaps it could be an attachment apparatus that has the “raw materials” controlled by Bluetooth or dongle then controlled via app. We’re decently identifying individual percentages of terpenes in strains now. Imagine getting all of the terpenes, even synthetic juices like ones used to flavor carts and whatnot. Type up the percentages in the app, and boom. It could really help with decisions on what to cross in breeding.

Side note, this would be awesome in food applications too. “What do Makrut Leaves smell like?” “Mix this ingredient w that ingredient and do they go well together?”

When u say this I think of people getting this exp if it was cheaper or wanted info on terps if it can do that and also like lab test to prove how terpy it is. Not like we can smell it through the screen

You could do a sensory panel al a beer/wine/etc.

Different terps in a solution, dip your paper strip like a perfume counter, x is limonene, y is pinene, etc
