CA over 6 plants felony charges

Six plants is plenty for personal use. Whole lot of people that would love to be able to grow six plants without any worries. Also, the amendments to that law take away many things that could’ve lead to imprisonment. Not sure what’s wrong with it.

What is this horseshit? Currently over 6 plants is a misdemeanor: 6 months and/or $500. 1st timer like me would be $500 and a warning. If this passes the fine goes to $10,000. But stealing something in this state of delusion under $1000 worth and spend no jail time. WTF?

They are probably blaming the lack of profits on the guys that have more than 6 plants....I mean 60..600.I could more easily understand but 6......seems like the bar is set a little low for a 10k fine.....and what goods it going to do? .Well, unless they plan on enforcement for the coin......it'll get worse :)

We have 6 plant count and it's only 3 flower and 3 in veg, but then if there are 2 med users in the household my limit is 12....6 flower, 6 veg. But no more than 12 total per household no matter what or how many stoner med folks live there. ;)
 
This isn't what we voted for, we want it legalized. We sent that message but these fools don't work for us, just big business and large donations. Pissing me off. Go after the black market if that's the problem but no, as usual they've got to fuck with people who aren't hurting damn thing.

Yeah, they're usually not written very well....and I doubt any were written with any input from anyone who's actually grown.
If they were, you wouldn't have these stupid ass count laws.
There's a million strains out there. We have to find the right one for us, but we can only grow 1 seed at a time? (With backups in all stages)
Take 6 months to grow it and find out it's not even right, and now have to start over with 1 more seed?
Pretty damn stupid laws, if you ask most growers.
Shit, It would take 5 years to hunt 1 pack of beans ?
 
All I can say is, get involved in politics if you care so much. Get out there and spread your message. Build a movement, get signatures on a petition, file lawsuits, get elected to local/state offices, and so on. Bitching and moaning from the bleachers gets us the system we have now and changes nothing. Fight (legally) for what you care about and what you believe is right/just.

I do, unfortunately not many others will get involved. We can become targets. Learned that message loud and clear watching what they did to Ed Rosenthal all those years?

They fucking extradited Mark Emery, a Canadian seed seller for selling SEEDS to Americans! Trying to threaten Canadians.. Way to go!

I dunno, I think it’s kinda fucked I can go get a case or a pallet for that matter, of booze and it’s no license needed, but try buying more than an ounce of weed!..
Its all a cash grab and they are pissed that they have to give us anything at all, be it your 6 plants or our 4 here in Canada, but the opposition at this stage is much too dangerous to go against the flow of global legalization.
@Bevers We are speaking up and speaking out, and were doing it on a global scale!. It’s just that the greedy aren’t done trying to dissect our pockets yet!
