Hempy Buckets ???

Got some progress made yesterday, all 8 buckets are ready for a test run, still working on the watering system, have a few ideas but none are final lol and 5 for 5 on the PCKs and 2 out of three on theplemon, fingers crossed for the last one, the cube had a pretty large void inside the hole, thinking it wasn't making enough contact with the bean I readjusted and am currently awaiting a pop ??? hoping to have the ladies in the system in about 10 days,gonna up pot to solos first then go to the hempys once the roots are off to the races20201020_184600.jpg20201020_184545.jpg20201020_184531.jpg20201020_193653.jpg

I've started using these recently.
Pretty much the same thing.
I just screw it onto a pvc nipple straight into the pump.
Much cheaper than the FloraFlex bubblers, and I like the fact you can feed from 0-20gph or anything in between for each line.

cool! what size tubing is that? the DiG uses aquarium tubing. i bought a whole roll of that shit years ago. i just change my feed amounts by a digital timer.

It's the same. 1/4" OD.
That's basically the "standard size" for drip irrigation.

Edit....just make sure what you use is not clear like that. I only use that stuff inside the rez. Otherwise you'll get bacteria growing in your lines.

Black vinyl tubing ftw.
 
I'm getting closer, thinking I got my drainage and automated watering taken care of, gonna put some shit together tomorrow and see how it works, I'll chronicle everything and drop it in the diy section, grabbed some half pint CINDERBLOCKS today to get some elevation for the drainage system20201022_162906.jpg

Got the drainage 90% worked out looking like it's gonna work okay, but we shall see, watering is gonna be via 2 4way drip irrigation heads attached to my 256gph pump, I'll play with the flow settings and timer to get it where I'm wanting, coco mix is cooking now, it took on a nasty smell soon as I added the organic amendments, so I rewet everything with a mix of yucca, greatwhite, and some molasses, 3 days later and its smelling much much better, bennies are freaking magic lol20201024_132940.jpg20201024_132959.jpg20201024_133006.jpg20201024_134849.jpg20201024_134859.jpg20201024_133028.jpg
