My last move we had to stay 26 days in a travel trailer our house sold before we could close the deal on the second house so basically I was camping at a lake while we pushed the deal throughYeah, I was bummed to chop him, the stem rub was super dank and he had some monster stalks.
I had to hold off on dropping more beans for a minute though. We're going to look at a house today. I don't think we will pull the trigger but if we do I would need to start thinning things out so I'm not moving an unreasonable number of plants.
I could handle that! My house is way to small at this point. Great little place but we're feeling awful cramped. Unfortunately, the market is insane so we may be stuck for a whileMy last move we had to stay 26 days in a travel trailer our house sold before we could close the deal on the second house so basically I was camping at a lake while we pushed the deal through
Im not familiar with the Happy Frog (or soil in general) & just shooting from the hip, but if theres nutes already in the soil could the mixture possibly be too hot for seedlings? So I'm clearly having issues with seedlings right now. I've lost about half a dozen over the last couple weeks. Not sure whats happening but it's been the same issue in every case, after the tap root no more roots formed. They admittedly weren't getting enough light because the veggies were hogging a lot of it, but usually they'd hang in there and just get a little stretchy. But the thrips also got some pretty good and I'm using soil instead of coco for the first time in a while. I think I need to get some more coco, I prefer starting in it then moving to soil.
Also, this is why I never blame breeders for germination issues until I have an abundance of evidence (publicly anyways) . This issue hit the Tiki stuff first so I was pretty frustrated. But now I lost seedlings from three other breeders so I'm realizing it's on me. I haven't had trouble with seedlings in years. At least now I have plenty more seeds to drop! Back in the day when I had one pack of white rhino to my name those seedlings not making it was way more stressful lol
Happy Frog historically has been fine for me for seedlings, and there's no sign of yellowing/nute burn. But I don't think I've used them since FoxFarms got bought by Scotts/Miracle Gro so who knows what's in it now... so it's definitely possible. Part of why I think I'm gonna go back to coco to start inIm not familiar with the Happy Frog (or soil in general) & just shooting from the hip, but if theres nutes already in the soil could the mixture possibly be too hot for seedlings?
Not sure if you mentioned it already, but wasd there a reason you switched from coco?Happy Frog historically has been fine for me for seedlings, and there's no sign of yellowing/nute burn. I ran out, had soil from my veggies ?Not sure if you mentioned it already, but wasd there a reason you switched from coco?
I've been using it for months. The monterey brand in fact. The first time I saw them the spinosad did the trick real quick. This second outbreak is some mutant, spinosad resistant brand of the the little shits. Just added Plant Therapy to the mix. But they just keep coming back. Been adding nematodes to the soil as well. 3 of the 4 tents seem to be under control now but I'm still finding them in one veg tent, and now apparently in my seedling rack. I'm actually thinking they may be breeding in the bag of plugs...there's no sign of larvae in the soil, only in the plugs themselvesHave you tried using Spinosad? Ive had thrips a couple times over the years and every time Spinosad has eradicated them on the first application.
I use the Monterey Brand and highly recommend it. OMRI certified and safe to use in the home.
I wouldnt use it to spray or drench your medium, but dont fret if it gets on it while applying it to the foliage (drench both topsides and undersides of all foliage).
That would be dope. I'd love to see someone from the community grow them out so we can get some honest feedbackSo, I don't remember if it was this thread or not, but I remember talking to you about the Tiki Rain cut. Well, I talked to the guy, and it's supposedly the breeders cut, his buddy paid hundreds for. He's also got the Apple Fritter cut... Now I just need to get them from him lol... But he wants Runtz and Peanut Butter Breath, so there's a possibility...
Not familiar with the product, but Dr. Zymes says it works as a drench for soil born pests and larvae. I picked up a "free" sample for $7 shipping, gonna try it the next time things go off the rails. Might get you back to the starting line quicker.I've been using it for months. The monterey brand in fact. The first time I saw them the spinosad did the trick real quick. I've been there man. I've managed to keep things moving enough to have plenty of bud but my grow certainly hasn't been without some speed bumps lately. Getting things under control but lately it seems like there's always some new hurdle to overcome. Half my issues are just real life being a dick lately though... haven't had the time to focus on the garden the way I'd like to. We'll both get back on track I'm sure!If I get them, I'll be sharing, so I can see them grown out proper myself lol
My grows been a suck fest lately. Having a garden, and having to get street weed is a kick in the dick!
"Yeah, I've got thousands in cuts in flower, but I still need your generic ass cookies to get by, because I'm a fuck up"
Never sure what forum rules say about posting links so I naturally never do. You can get it at Arbico Organics (just picked up nematodes and assassin bugs, bugs on sale - Ive seen the catalog in your pics), and direct from their own Dr Zymes website, as well as Amazon (wont ship to some states). Free sample was through their website/IG.Where's the link???
This is worthless to us old timers that don't Google ?
On this forum you can share links no problem. I was just on their site though and didn't see the free sample anywhere!Never sure what forum rules say about posting links so I naturally never do.
