Our food bill is out of this world!
The mastiffs have a hard time with any chicken products or duck and goose is even worse, I mean you can't stay in the same room as that gas!..
So no cheap food for them at all..
But no.. the other dogs are mid sized and between 30 to 65 lbs and they are on Acana Pacifica too, at a little better than $100/bag...
The two boys outside ( border collies) can eat anything, so I tend to spoil them a good bit more.. ( it's really their only break from being on duty, so I try and stretch it out for them)

I won't even ask about how much poop you have to shovel lol.

??‍? ‘round here, we calls it “tonnage”… lmao

On a serious note though, there’s always ‘some kind of shit‘ to deal with on a ranch.. And as much as it sucks, I wouldn’t change it.. The fur coats are easy to clean after… it’s the ones that shed their skin that are the tricky ones!..lol

Checkers anyone?…lol

I had no idea bread dough was poisonous to dogs?

Really? It's news to me. Ibknow garlic isn't go, choc is a no go and keep corn cobs away from hungry staff's. Never knew bread was bad for them. You learn something new everyday

Nala the hellhound over the years. All my pets have come from animal shelters. She was a 3 month old pup at dog pound. I try and convince myself I saved her when in reality she saved me. Now she looks after the Mrs and kids. She eats better than most of my mates.
Those chooks keep tempting fate I tell ya.
