Why jump off now when I came this far?
I'm there no doubt, but I think I'll go a little bit more to mature a bit and pacify the unknowns. I usually lean on the side of taking the seed longer than shorter and a few are still on the lighter side of things.

One thing this run has shown the masses is exactly what over-pollination looks like. I'm glad I had the experience really. I can see how some of the seeds are deformed and some were choked out completely by the others. In the end, I don't think it matters for a preservation run but can be something to think about when doing something similar in the future. :mariochanging:

Very interesting. Welp, I learned about over pollination today ?

I did a fresh shucking to get a peek at what the seeds look like. You can see that #3 has a little percentage of deformities due to the over-pollination. In the end, I'll discard those, and we should be left with quite a few grade-A seeds from this run. I plan on shucking the rest in a couple of weeks when everything is dried out thoroughly. These things were pure bubblegum gas and very sticky when I finally got my hands on them and broke them down. It was very appealing to me and made me excited to capture the genetics for the community.

If I were to do this again in a small tent, I would like to collect the pollen separately and hand pollinate. Not so much for genetic diversity but more for avoiding over-pollination,

The shuck.

I have been letting these things dry on the stems for the last week or so. Still a bit of moisture inside the flowers but I was able to get this pile plucked away. Most of these are coming from the #3 female. She smells very nice when I handle her. High in the nasal gas with a spicey undertone. Definitely, a unique flavor on the menu of things I have dabbled with that should lead to some dynamics in the hunts of the future.

Removed #6 male from the tent.

Everything is healthy and packed full of beans. I plan on cutting down #5 in a few days and maybe do a light spray down with some RO water to neutralize some of the stray pollen. I am shooting for a nice clean break in pollination to let the flowers focus on seed health. The frost is starting to layer in on the girls and some gassy undertones have come with it. Definitely a nice surprise. (y)
I love how that purple is coming through like the ACE purple chitral kush. Awesome run! And its not lemony.

You have motivated me to give it a go with the Chitral Kush (Landrace Exchange) pack...soon as i get the bugs in check.

Well done sir !

Thanks G!

ACE and its PCK lines are the reason I even picked this particular genetic in the first place. ? It wasn't on the table when I selected this strain. With that said I am very pleased that I was able to look into this more obscure line. I found some new flavors and aromas that I haven't had before and made a fairly big supply of beans to hunt through in the process.:stoned:

#4 completely down to seed. Again about another 1000.

I went from 5 seeds to 2000 in a matter of 4 months and learned a ton about indoor open pollination. Great plants and plenty of seed. My hope is that this inspires enough growers to take the chance at preserving something unique and documenting the process.

I'll be sending these back to @Deebs if anyone is interested in looking through this batch.

Agree with Ed, great grow diary and 2000 seed added to preservation is a bloody good thing. Great work

Just got a nice selection of your offspring @Buck5050 , great job running them.
I hope to find some of that gas in the tank.
@Buck5050 Got me some beans as well thank you for the time and effort you put into this. Much love and appreciation I'll be journaling them when I run em :stoned: ?
Ya boys do ya thing. I have a row of Dixon Cider ( CandyMan x Cider Kush) set up outdoors currently. The seeds came from the same run and boy are they some fresh seeds. Everything is happy and hardy and ready for the summer sun.

From above these two look the same.
Both are about 8 weeks above ground. Unmolested. About 9 internodes. Not sexed.

I feel as tho I treat them all the same.
Starting to look like the part of the Celery that I feed to the bunny.

Hemp like stalks with some gnarly knuckles forming at the internodes, looks really close to what I was seeing from my run with the outcross, almost eerie. Of course I only seen a few pHenos with the broader leaf blades, where yours are definitely showing off a little more in that department. I'm not sure what you have for headroom @Jewels but I have a feeling that some stretch of serious concerns is in your future.
