Man the composting chapter in Steve Solomons the intelligent gardener was probably the most enlightening thing I've read on compost I'd highly recommend that book for anyone that uses their own compost

Tape weed. Sea grass and Sea lettuce from our local mangroves tidal deposit, rinsed and added to my garden compost for a 4-5 week breakdown . May take a little longer now it’s winter

I do this same method in my backyard . This guy just reinforces the benefits and how nature will always rule of synthetic crap !
