I think the numbers will show that the vaccines available dramatically decrease the numbers of new cases and dangerous side effects. And like any vaccine, the % of the population that exhibit extreme reactions to the vaccine is negligible. All in all, getting vaccinated is better for the overall population.

Your personal decision to get vaccinated is another matter completely however, and I respect your decision either way.

Honestly, I'd like to get back to the conversation of weed and it's effect on COVID and away from the vaccination conversation. I'm so damn tired of talking about the vaccine. It's as bad as politics and religion. I don't think anyone here would have a hard time guessing my status but that's not really the point, I just come to this forum to hide from all that shit lol.

But the effect of cannabis consumption on COVID infection rates is pertinent, and interesting!

From what I've garnered the reality is heavy smoking (of virtually kind) and even frequent smoke inhalation from wood stoves and such can cause inammation in the lungs that exacerbates the effects of COVID, but also that some of the cannabanoids could actually help recover from COVID. So basically what I'm taking from this is smoking those two facts they cancel each other out, and if your taking edibles your golden! But then again, I'm not a doctor....

As for infection rates increasing because of cannabis consumption, nothing in the video has me persuaded, and my own experience as someone who smokes heavily and is in frequent contact with other people and never had COVID, I'm not convinced.

I didn’t mean to make it political at all. Believe me when I say I come at this with absolutely no political leaning. Politicians didn’t develop these vaccines, research doctors and scientists with lifetimes devoted to these areas did. I’m inclined to believe they did so with good intentions, and not political agendas.

I'm stoned, but I can't think of many aspects of life version 2021 that's not affected by political ambitions and directives. Anybody?

I really love that we have this place where we can discuss such things without drama happening from it. I find it pretty damn awesome in fact.
 
I'm going to do what the Dr. wants me to do. Thats why I pay them. For their knowledge. Not Joe blow from blog cast blah blah blah. Another thing. How about everyone that says its their choice their body. Remember that when you're for/against another similar issue like abortion.

That's part of the point.

Everything is political because that's what makes money.

Look at the entire media ecosystems designed to stoke tribalism and confirmation bias (for those who may not know- Confirmation Bias | Simply Psychology) by demonizing "the other." How much of cable news is just them showing other cable news clips and acting like more people should be angry about or scared of what the other person said?

For me, it's all about following the money. CNN isn't going to air anything that AT&T doesn't want them to. MSNBC isn't going to air anything that Comcast doesn't want them to. Fox isn't going to air anything that contradicts what other Rupert Murdoch outlets say. It's profitable for these companies to keep the status quo of the international working classes fighting each other over petty shit while they rob us (See: The Panama Papers).

People with power want to keep that power, and absolute power corrupts absolutely, so it's really in the best interest of everyone involved if we take some power back from the billionaires.

Politics is like watching professional wrestling. It's all an act. A story about good guys and bad guys with some distractions and theatrics to hide that the outcome is predetermined with disgusting amounts of funding from "the powers that be."
 
This post is a buzz kill, sorry. It belongs on Facebook not on Phenohunter. Every time I see political shit like this on here I visit less and less. I think im just gonna stay off the net and keep to myself from now on. There is no escaping the fuckery anymore. Sorry if this hurts people's feelings but it's the damned truth.
