Cannabis legalization in several countries and US states has revolutionized the industry at all levels, including cannabis edibles, which are now available in every imaginable form.

Despite all these developments, some products are timeless classics, and remain the favourites of many users, like cookies or brownies.

Today, we are focusing on the famous marijuana brownies, a staple in many coffee shops, but also in cannabis home cooking, proving they are as easy to make as they are delicious.

How to make cannabis-infused brownies

One of the advantages of this recipe is its simplicity, both in terms of ingredients (easily accessible everywhere) and the elaboration itself, since it doesn’t require any special cooking skills.

What makes these cannabis brownies different from the non-cannabis version is the fat used (butter or vegetable oil), which will have previously been enriched with cannabinoids.

While butter is a traditional ingredient in brownies recipes, you can use any vegetable fat, such as coconut butter or olive oil; this way, you’ll be able to make marijuana brownies for vegan and/or lactose-intolerant people. For these brownies, coconut oil might be a better option than olive oil, both due to its texture and the slight aroma it adds to the preparation; it’s also easier to mix with the chocolate and the nuts than olive oil.

Before cooking your brownies, you need to choose the fat you want to use for the recipe and infuse it with resin or buds from your marijuana harvest. To do this, we have several methods, but would like to highlight the following two:

Once your cannabis-infused fat is ready, whip the rest of the ingredients, and get to work. It’s a good idea to bake two lots of brownies; one with weed and one without, so both sweet-toothed people and food lovers can satisfy their appetite without having to ingest a big chunk of marijuana cake.

Cannabis brownie recipe

Before getting the necessary ingredients and utensils, start by preheating the oven to 180ºC, in order to have the right temperature ready when placing the mixture into the oven. Let’s see what ingredients you’ll need:

Ingredients for marijuana brownies

• 200g dark chocolate
• 150g cannabutter or vegetable oil
• 150g sugar
• 1 vanilla sugar sachet
• 2 eggs
• 150gr plain flour
• 1 pinch of salt
• 100g nuts (hazelnuts, walnuts, almonds…). You can totally or partially replace the nuts for 50 grams of chocolate chips, for a richer chocolate flavor.

Directions

  1. Melt the chocolate and the butter in the microwave, and stir until smooth.
  2. In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar, vanilla sugar, and pinch of salt, and add the butter mix.
  3. Using a strainer, gradually incorporate the flour, stirring well until smooth. Then, add the nuts and/or chocolate chips.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased mold, and bake at 180ºC for about 25 minutes.

After 25 minutes, the edges and the crust should be dry, but the center needs to be moist when cutting the brownie with a knife. The baking is the crucial step to obtain that much-celebrated fondant texture, so you must be careful not to overcook your cannabis brownies; otherwise, they’ll be dry and hard.

Warning: Edibles take longer to kick in than smoked cannabis, but the high is stronger and lasts longer than smoking or vaping. For this reason, it’s recommended to eat a small amount of cake and wait at least 60-90 minutes before having more. The weed-free brownies will help satisfy your sweet tooth without absorbing too many cannabinoids, for a fully rewarding experience.

Enjoy!

Or...if you want to make a brownie that will 418 Rigby a Rhino...well you use Frys cocoa powder recipe.

1 cup of fat....that is the way to bring the THC in

infuse either Coconut oil OR Clarified butter for best flavor, texture AND a fantastic THC transfer ratio from decarbed material into the fat (80% transfer at 120 grams of buds to 3 cups of oil, VERIFRIED by ARDENT)

Ingredients

  • 1-⅓ cup All-purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • ½ teaspoons Salt
  • 1 cup infused coconut oil OR clarifed butter. Melt butter and leave sit...pour the fat off the top leaving the solids on the bottom (it is then Ghee which has a higher transfer% than butter)
  • 1 cup Cocoa, Packed
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 4 whole Eggs
  • 1-½ teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 cup nuts or dried fruit....i recomend dried MANGOS for added effect
Stir together flour, baking powder and salt in a small bowl.

Melt butter in a large saucepan. Remove from heat.

Stir in cocoa. Blend in sugar, eggs and vanilla. Blend in dry ingredients and nuts.

You can make the weak brownies.....or you can make them like OLDG

And that recipe makes 6 brownies here...i usually break them in half.

Pour batter into a greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch rectangular baking pan. Bake in a preheated 350 F oven 30 to 35 minutes or until done.

The ardent is the best decarboxolyzation machine I have ever used.

It will ensure your edibles are as strong as they can be, or you could look at it like you use less material to make edibles (because it has the best transfer rate).

Buds out of the ardent are completey decarbed...you can eat them and get high (weigh them though...1 gram of 20% weed is 200mg of active thc).

You will not be sorry you got it.

Well if you get the small one you might be sorry you didnt just get the FX....wait for Black FRiday i am sure they will have a wicked sale.
