Humble beginnings

Quick update. Found a female I mistook for a male (kept em all on a shelf In the sun for a couple days) so I brought her back in. Trying to keep the humidity down for the autos that are almost done and planning on flipping to 12/12 in the next couple days.

First pic -
The three on the left are diesel roze
The bottom middle and top middle(hiding behind the auto) are sour blueberry breath
And the three autos smell great, when I take a nice slow deep sniff I keep getting a coffee scent from it and the wife says I’m crazy ..the stem rubs are straight citrus candy on two and pine gas on the other. Not a lot but hopefully good :)

The two close up pics are of the lbc og auto in the middle of the first pic lol

I’ve been doing a whole lot of lurking, not. Lot of posting.. so a lot has been happening at the household de Luciano. We are having another son, which is great. The wife has kicked me out of the house, which is great..

I’ve been struggling moving to organic soil, with over watering at first, then underwatering..no mulch layer.. nutrient deficiency, not to mention light burn on the photos I was planning on switching to 12/12 6 weeks ago from flowering out the autos. But things are on the mend and I can’t complain. Life is good..

I chopped the two lemon berry candy og and 1 candy cake autos, which I stunted for sure lol. I ended up with like 3 ounces of smoke. But it is some really good smoke. I dried for 11 days at as close to 70 degrees and 65% humidity as I could manage (I need an ink bird controller for sure) with little to no trimming. I find my self smelling it for minutes at a time lol I look over and the wife is like WTF is going on.. it’s hard to describe when a scent just pulls you in but I know you know what I mean. Candied lemons and rotten berries.

So moving out to the garage has been great, I was able to upgrade my footprint. I now am in a 9x9 with a 4x8 raised bed, I figured it would help since I’m struggling with 1 and 3 gal fabric pots. Sending out a soil test this week and in the meantime I’ve germinated:

11 infernal og regs
4 squished cookies fems

Im also debating on whether or not to transplant the 2 sour blueberry breath and 3 diesel rosè into the other half of the bed.

Also, I’ve never done any breeding but I debating on keeping one of the infernal OG males to pollinate the rest of the tent.

Just flipped to 12/12 and the last night of foliar feeding with foop mist I got for free.. last night I was inspectin shit and I noticed some black growth on a couple of the lower branches on one of the sour blueberry breath. I cut two of them off and this morning I noticed one more little spot… anyone have any insight on what I need to do? Is it a disease Dammit ?

I’ve been using the foop mist 2-3 times a week about 10 minutes before lights out. Biovast Compost extract once a week and top dress with roots organics. But this is a new bed and I didn’t test the soil I made ?

Thank you though. I appreciate the compliment!

Hopefully it will balance out and I don’t cut anymore branches off! Hah
It should… A leaf seldom corrects itself, rather it will be replaced by new..
i spray feed on occasion as well.. Itry to mimic nature in that instance though.. if it rains, it’s usually kinda windy too.. push some wind bro!???
Dew can also cause that kind of havoc, and is why I leave my veg tent open (door)..

There is a positive here though… it isn’t disease! ??

Been finding more n more fungus gnats and I’m worried it’s going to become a problem.. pretty sure (at least I hope so) my soil is thriving with hypoasis mites but I’m thinking of ordering some sf nematodes to prevent anything from getting out of hand.

Couple photos and a video of what Im hoping is a predatory mite.

It was pretty expensive but with all the bennies showing up I’m glad I went that route

Holy shit they are fast whatever they are. Hope it's a beneficial man ? sorry I can't help. Someone will tho ?

More living soil shenanigans! Now I’ve found a Springtail infestation on a little piece of horse shit or something lol…
The plants look happy, and my daily inspections are turning up new discoveries every time. Luckily nothing has moved onto any parts of the plant that I have seen so far.

On a side note I have noticed a huge decrease in the fungus gnats, so that’s cool!
Also, a pic of the fungal hyphae in my living mulch and a day 15f pic

Happy Halloween pHam

I saw this about a week or two ago and meant to take a picture of it… but I forgot, too high.

And just a pic for the journal. So I can keep track of the shit I need to do better next time. Canopy is outta hand on one side, will definitely add trellis next time.
