Ran some GK Genetics God o War (ghost train haze x 9lb hammer) on Friday night. Letting it cold cure for a few. The RH of this batch was a bit too low but still pulled 3.4 grams from 20 pressing through a 120u Dab Press bag. That’s way beyond anything I’ve ever ran before. I’ve got a few more types of bags to try but I’m liking these Dab Press variety packs...
Tools and work area is sterile (ish) and I’ve got a date with that bananer haze x Lazerscout.
To my untrained eye, these ryzenberg bags look awfully similar to press club. I can’t usually exceed more than 2000 - 2500psi without a blowout on PC 90 microns using bottle tek method. We shall see shortly. I’ve got one of those baller jars I’ve got an itch to fill to the brim.

Banana Haze x Lazerscout, just a bit darker than my liking, but decent yield. Banana Terps are there, but overall more of just a tropical punch taste. Not much haze influence tbh.
more importantly, I just pressed the last bit of the first Slyme cookies x lazerscout. Yup she’s the one. Has a profile similar to silver and or lemon haze. I have 8 of them in veg right now.
there was a little less that 6 grams in the bag in this squish, so I dialed up the pressure a bit. The Ryzenberg bag held at just over 4000 psi, but it’s at its limit and the bag has started to Frey a bit. I’m also considering a change of my parchment paper brand. I’m ripping the parchment on higher psi presses and it’s leaking through the paper onto the other side.

Got my first set of full mesh bags in today. Gonna hash out all this trim from the last week.
my last run was ok I guess, nothing to write home about. I have really yet to pull anything impressive from a water hash run. Hoping these full mesh bags will do the trick.

no bueno bro... The puck is way too thin... I think bottle tek works best because there is some resistance from the puck because its much more dense come out of the mold... if that makes sense.... You can only fit 7 grams in the 2x4 puck and it creates much more surface area... I wound up crushing the bud, not squishing the rosin out...
maybe 2.5 x 4.5 bags with like 14 grams or so could improve this method. I think I should stick with bottle tek tho.
Its also really fucky to try and get the bag over the puck without it falling apart and shit.
I think this would work for pressing hash, but thats about it.
