I have a question for all the chuckers here I kept this BlackBerry mittens male to try my hand at chucking. I have him in the same tent as the girls at the moment my questions r how long can I keep him there? I don't want a fully seeded crop just a few seeds of each mom to look through. I don't have an extra tent to put it in so my plan is to cut the tops put in a glass of water on my table and try collect some pollen dose it look ready to dump?View attachment 141303

You can keep them in there quite a long time after a while though the pollen kind of stops being produced. But yeah they'll fade just like a female and everything. Kinda cool . Looks like a nice male! What I usually do is once they start dumping I'll leave them in there a day and kind of rub up on all the gals and then the next day I'll remove him and collect the pollen . You want minimal So I would remove him as soon as I saw a pollen and collect elsewhere Good luck man !

Thanx frim I figure since I'm getting so many males might as well pick one and give chucking and a try. I'm making a little bit of room in my closet I know I have a spare light somewhere I can use.

I did some pollen collecting to day got a nice little hull. I mixed the pollen with rice I think seen that done?‍ don't know if I should freeze it as I'm planning on using in the next few weeks.

Cleaned the girls up a bit also had to tie down the apple n banana cross she has some legs on her. I topped dressed with some flower girl things should start picking up here soon.

Did a little bit of chucking tonite hit all the girls hopefully they take. They r slowing down I think they r done with the stretch. I got lucky and have clones of everything the wedding cake was the last to throw roots looks rough but should pull though.

Topped most of the clones and gave them their first feed.

I removed all the fan leaves from most of the clones I hope this slows them down a bit.let the others catch up and help with the lower to grow out

A few random shots right before lights came on looks like the pollen took on all the branches I dusted. I'm going to have a few early seeds some of the pre flowers must of gotten dusted when I had the male with them early on.

Not pictured is wedding cake she is looking rough not sure why ?‍ I'm thinking of getting rid of it. I think I'm only going to keep the apple n banana cross and BlackBerry mittens clone and run again. I'll be popping new seeds soon just need to decide witch ones
