If things aren't going smoothly on there own, I'd recommend working with a divorce mediator before dealing with the lawyers.

I've fought a lot of criminal cases but civil/domestic is way different process the main issue here is 20 years of equity & dividing it even to where I have funds for a new start somewhere you would think a simple 50/50 solution but ain't gonna happen

I had to do this exact thing in 2013. Culled shit within weeks of finish, just because I couldn’t take a chance. I had a son that needed to be in my care. Didn’t pick it up again til this year. Do what you have to do and trust your instincts man. Sorry for you brother, these are hard days and no words help.
