I run them under, or soak them in, hot water. The warmth speeds things up. Then I add a bit of salt and some iso and grind. If that doesn't get everything, a quick swipe with a small brush and they're good as new.

I've got a two-piece SC Shredder made from hemp like the one pictured(not my photo).
It's surprisingly good, though one of the teeth did break off after prolonged use.
I'm looking for a larger 2 or 3 piece metal replacement though, as these smaller ones are hard on the wrists.
It's hard to find one without a kief catcher though.
I have no desire to separate the kief. It's a silly idea to me, kinda like removing the chocolate syrup from the ice cream before you eat it.

I already give away all the hash made from the Trim Bin tray, since I prefer flower. The last thing I want is more kief for the pile. Leave that shit with the ground up flower where it belongs, imo.

We would use these in college and the sides would be caked in trichs. Some night Ma we would take bing rips of just kief…there was a 90 second window to make it to your bed before shit got difficult lol
