It just occurred to me that the name Barney has very different connotations depending on your generation.

To me, Barney is the name of a caveman. To those a bit younger, Barney is the town drunk, and to another group, he's a purple dinosaur.
Any other names with a similar evolution come to mind?

I had an Uncle Barney. He was alot like a drunken & high caveman that sold drugs, lots of em, and all kinds. Lol. No purple dinosaur though unless you had a bad trip, just an Uncle I thought was an asshole til I was a teenager. Lmfao.

From Mayberry to Bedrock to New York to Springfield to some creepy place with talking dinosaurs, ol' Barney has gone for quite a ride.

I loved the Barney Miller show as a kid. Just looking at that photo reminded me of all the great characters(just noticed Abe Vigoda is missing).

It's one thing to build a badass truck and use it. Building an $80k+ 4x4 that never hauls a load or leaves the pavement is another thing entirely.

Yeah, if you're a big guy and you need it for work I totally get it. But when you see that short little chubby guy hop out in dress shoes, it is pretty funny. Just like being in a big vehicle. I'll tell you the older I get the more I want a little car. Been driving my wife's little Subaru hatchback for a while now and I love it. And I don't care how small it is lol . 37mpg awd ?and parking in the city is a breeze
