A northern pike or a muskie are on my bucket list we don't have them out here I'm getting my boat ready for fall fishing as soon as the weather cools hope you catch fish till your arms dropFar northern ME ... 6,000 acre lake... should be interesting, heard its a good bass spot... better landlocked salmon spot but ill be about 2 months too late for that unless I get real lucky
are you using bait or lures ? or both? I've used mepps & panther Martin spinners where you have small mouth bass & trout in the same water but lately a clown color rapala x-rap has been my favorite small gitzit jigs on #6 line has been good too they usually hit them as they are sinking all this fishing stuff has got me excited lol at one time I had 3 boats after retiring I'm down to one lately kayak fishing is catching my interest as I have a lot of small mountain lakes nearbyFar northern ME ... 6,000 acre lake... should be interesting, heard its a good bass spot... better landlocked salmon spot but ill be about 2 months too late for that unless I get real lucky

do you striper fish ? we get 2 runs a year here in nor-cal with some holdovers I fish the Sacramento/San Joaquin delta freshwater with tidal influence from nearby saltwater in the bay I love striper fishing as well as ultralight fishingMostly lures so far. Caught a couple small trout this morning on my fly rod with a wooly bugger but damn am I out of practice. Feel like im learning all over again. Haven't had my fly rod out in 10 years.
I'm gonna look up those lures you just mentioned, bought a canoe for this trip actually so I'm gonna be paddling out a little later today. The lake is only 2 ft deep for the first 50 feet out, then suddenly drops off to 70 ft deep.
I live on the coast so 99% of my fishing is saltwater... Im so out of my element out here haha

Those all sound good we have halibut out in the bay excellant when fried in beer batter we have salmon too I usually smoke themHeck ya man! Stripers are the majority of the fishing around me... though I have to admit Bluefish, Flounder, and Black Seabass are my preferred targets.

I'm jealous my monkey juice had smaller buds lol I ordered my 4x4 tent today scrounging all the fixings & trimmings nowAnd finally ... the flower tent... with my apparently non functioning 315 CMH that I thought I had fixed... on the upside we all get to see the plants in a literal different lightView attachment 19244View attachment 19243View attachment 19245View attachment 19246
