The Dark Alley Club - Sad, seedy loners welcome.

The cuttings in the green pucks are the Chem Sister and the ones in the blue are the Mass Super Skunk... Snips landed in good shape and the fine gentleman through in a pack MSS x AKBB SS#1 beans as well which is pretty awesome

Why you lucky sonnuva so and so!
It should be interesting to see how those beans stack up to the cut!

So, your cloner came with a water pump and sprayer, but you made it a bubbler? Good to have options!
I did the same at one point.
Because I can be lazy when it comes to checking clones, and I didn't want the water level to drop, I actually made another lid out of 1" foam, with holes for the pucks.
That way, the whole lid would just float, and drop with the water level.

First ever attempt at single branch pollination pollination... hit one of the White Tigers with @Buck5050 GG75 pollen... not sure if I used enough but I guess we shall see!

The WT I chose is my first pheno... it's been by far the more vigorous of the two and has a dope lemon and lavender nose to her. If this works out should be a fun cross to play withView attachment 33796

I'd call it halfsharktigerhalfgorrilla

Trying to get caught up on your journal, so I'm not sure if someone else has commented yet. (still reading) But you may want to consider "breathable" bags like bread loaf bags. (ones without the wax/plastic liners. Brown sack lunches work well too but bread loaf bags are longer for longer branch coverage. Don't worry about blocked light from the "brown" bags. Glad to see you're trying some single branch pollination.

Thanks for the tips! The brown bag was mentioned but not the bread bag, which is convenient since I always have them around and I hate throwing away plastic... at least now I can put them to use for a while before they head to a landfill!

Really excited to mess around with chucking more and being able to pollinate one branch at a time is just so much more convenient, especially because I don't need hundreds of seeds from my crosses

After I replied and I kept reading, I saw some other people touched on the "breathable" bags and also offered some sound advice. I personally keep my bags on for three days and I staple the bottom of the bags. Even when pollinating a plant. I keep it isolated for three days and then I spray it down with water before returning it to the flower room. There's a lot of different ways of doing things that work. I'm just sharing my method.

I definitely appreciate it... I like to try a few methods for everything before I settle on one. I'll probably try every suggestion I get until I find what makes me happy... wound up doing 24 hrs this time

I think she looks pregnant, right? :LOL:20201019_152436.jpg

Me too. I'm looking forward to it. I actually keep forgetting about these because they're not in my garden because I forgot to pop some. Every time I see them mentioned in your journal I'm like, "Oh yeah, I forgot about those." lol
Hahaha well I'm happy to keep sending you reminders.... I don't know why but being the only one growing something makes it extra exciting

What up GMC! It does look like some took. Keep in mind that the bags will damage some of the pistils when smooshed up on 'em. They'll turn brown from that too. Day or Two you'll see them straighten out a bit and some others shrivel up more because they grabbed the pollen. Did you do 24 hours of bag placement?

Yessir! Decided to start there based off your observations. Impatiently waiting for confirmation it worked now lol
