The Dark Alley Club - Sad, seedy loners welcome.

So I was bored last night and I can't drop anymore beans yet, and I didn't have enough time to finish gathering the HS pollen... so I took some of the pollen that had dried overnight already and attempted a branch pollination on the MSS.... tune in next week to see if we'll have some skunk on skunk action in our future... or if a certain gentleman accidentally pollinated something he shouldn't have!

Been too busy to take many pictures lately but here's a quick update on the FVK going 12/12 from seed. Still no sign of sex yet but here's hoping for a nice split so I can get some beans from this group!

The surviving seedlings are looking better and there's no physical sign of the root aphids anymore. Especially happy that it looks like the Dream Beaver will both make it!

Gonna do another nematode application this weekend, I learned my lesson last time not doing repeat applications. Fungus gnats are greatly reduced in all the tents except the 4x4.

It's killing me not popping more beans lol. But it feels good seeing so many fewer bugs. There's a light at the end of this tunnel I think...

Working on cleaning up some of the veggers and getting them into new shoes (with more beneficial nematodes)... things continue to look better...

This Black Apples from Cannarado smells amazing. Stem rub is like straight up sour apple candies with a touch of black liquorice. The other one doesn't smell like this at all... 20210623_212334.jpg

I love the terps off of them dark stem varieties. Get some GMC!

Man it feels good to have some plants going that don't look like garbage from bug damage lol.

This Purple Gypsy is the impetus behind me thinking I need to try more Stray gear. Both phenos look great but #1 really shines. Kind of a funky berry nose, not sweet at all though, and the colors are just gorgeous. The picture doesn't really show it super well but the buds are a mix of lavender and lime green with really dark green fan leaves. 20210706_234122.jpg

Number two is nice as well but is more of a berry and sandlewood nose that's not nearly as loud as #1. And while she looks great she doesn't have the unique hues of #1.

And here's an update on the Black Abyss. She could definitely have handled a heavier feed. In fact I really think I need to up my applications of the Roots Grow even in flower, everything looks like it could us a little more N. 20210706_234212.jpg
