I've finished 2 of Skunky's Skunk#1s, a couple Ancestral Skunks, and a couple Ballroom Funks (GMO x (Ghost OG x Skunk#1)) recently.
They all came out predominantly citrusy, but there were slight nuances...
The Skunk#1s were a really interesting mix of grapefruit and onions, and probably most likely to head toward funkytown.
The Ancestrals were all citrusy. More lemony than grapefruit.
The Ballroom Funks were 2 citrusy, but 1 leaned more Ghost, and had a real nice OG smell....but also the stretchy golfball structure.
Now that I think of it, the BFs might be the first GMO cross I've run that hasn't been GMO dominant. You could probably make the connection with the OG leaning one though.
On the preservation note: I'm just starting 10 Colombian Blacks aka Llanera for the vault.
I'm also starting 4 of the Afghaan 90 x Black Afghans, and after reading a bit more about them here, I'm even more excited about them!
Rounding out the latest group are 4 Gwniver (Blueberry x Tashkurgan Afghani) by Jim Dandy, which should be fun too, based on his reports of Tashkurgan, and the potential of Blueberry.
The whole group seem to be vigorous so far, judging by soak n cracking, anyway. Most aren't in soil yet, but will be soon.
Thanks again Deebs!
I'm hoping to have these all around the same age for possible crosses along with the Colombian preservation run.
The CBs will be fully seeded w CB pollen, save for selected lower buds, which might get a little A90 and Gwniver pollen.
A90 and Gwniver girls would also get selected CB pollen as well.
I don't have any NL x Haze crosses on deck, so these are my closest chance at dabbling in a similar gene pool lol
