Has anyone had this trait show on a female plant? Most examples I see tend to one grow out of this trait and two be males. Just interesting to me.

Im interested in this subject as well. I just found 2 whorlys in my garden. I thought it was genetic, now Im wondering if something in my environment or practices is causing this. Ive seen a few over the years but not 2 different strains at the same time. Its an advantage doe, right? An extra branch = more yield?

Maybe but if it is only a male trait then no.
I personally have grown out 3 and all were males. Most documented occurrences have proven to be male.

My Doubble dipped strawberries is a trifolate. First seed i ever germinated. Her clones are what I'm currently growing. I am only on my second grow, so I don't have any other experiences , to compare to. I just figured, I got lucky. Here's a few pics.IMG_0630.jpg1648599802669_IMG_0745001.jpg1648599809648_IMG950782.jpg

I’ve had quite a few actually and they’ve all been from fem beans…I just top it than it’ll have 3 shoots than I chop one of them so there is only 2 and they grow out of it from there, mine have at least

Why do u want them to grow out of it? What’s the disadvantage?
