I’m running Hydroguard, I tried sterile running with UC Roots, seems at odds to grow a living thing in a dead zone?
I know that’s not exactly it.
I have real good water, so it’s easier for me.
I quit using RO water, wasteful and unnecessary for me.
This is where discerning information from the bushes can be misleading.
I thought everybody needed RO. (

Yeah many ppl get caught up in RO that don't need it. Hydrogaurd is a great additive. Just have to make sure it's not expired or open longer than 6months. I added hygrowzyme to my last grow and I have to say I was skeptical at first but I was very impressed with it. Between the 2 my root health was amazing. I'm not much for additives but those 2 I have no problem recommending.

Unfortunately I don't have a test for it as I'm not sure food source. I'm assuming ammonia because of the decaying organic matter it eats but I can't say for sure. If it's older than 6 months I'm fairly certain it won't be effective.

Hygrowzyme are enzymes basically bacteria in a sense. Bacteria produce enzymes, it's these enzymes that break down the nutrients. Also enzymes have no shelf life. As long as they don't become denatured.

The clones in plugs are still mixed results.
I have noticed the clones in the rw are doing fine, rooter clones wilted.
I’m wondering if the rw fitting snug vs. stuck in a rooter, possible air gaps? Not the right term, but....
In the mean time, I’ve neglected my Berry’s messing with the clones.
Pulled the dome, live or die, seedlings were not progressing.
I’m picking my Pheno Hunt entry now, she’s the one hunkered down.
You can tell which ones are rw clones.

The Grape Pupil is doing good, I think.
Seems to like the fluorescent for chillin, I’m going to move it in with the uc, thinking a vert in a corner?

The fogger clones are looking good, no show yet.
The ph has stayed solid since I set this up. Airstones get a bad rap, sometimes.

Good stuff. What temp are your clones at? Try pressing the rockwool in to the middle. Important to prevent air pruning

It’s warm, they never got their own gauge. )
The rw plugs fit tight, wedged clay ball to keep the split closed, good fit.
Air may be the issues with the rooters?
RW holds moisture better when exposed.
Rooters would do better stuffed in a tray, tighten them up?
