Would this kinda be like a star athlete using PEDs vs. an "average" person using PEDs?No... The more light the more gains. Now you also have to account for nutrient uptake and growth rates. The faster the plant growth (hydro being faster than soil) the more it can take advantage of increased transpiration rates and in turn can make more use of co2 and the more impact in growth rates.
Basically the faster you can get a plant to grow without CO2 the more of an increase you will see with it.
I would say aeroponics would show the biggest gains. Soil would see the least... But with high light and a good environment those gains will be good in any media
Same idea yesWould this kinda be like a star athlete using PEDs vs. an "average" person using PEDs?
I’m running Hydroguard, I tried sterile running with UC Roots, seems at odds to grow a living thing in a dead zone?Do you run sterile or live?
Yeah many ppl get caught up in RO that don't need it. Hydrogaurd is a great additive. Just have to make sure it's not expired or open longer than 6months. I added hygrowzyme to my last grow and I have to say I was skeptical at first but I was very impressed with it. Between the 2 my root health was amazing. I'm not much for additives but those 2 I have no problem recommending.I’m running Hydroguard, I tried sterile running with UC Roots, seems at odds to grow a living thing in a dead zone?
I know that’s not exactly it.
I have real good water, so it’s easier for me.
I quit using RO water, wasteful and unnecessary for me.
This is where discerning information from the bushes can be misleading.
I thought everybody needed RO. (
Unfortunately I don't have a test for it as I'm not sure food source. I'm assuming ammonia because of the decaying organic matter it eats but I can't say for sure. If it's older than 6 months I'm fairly certain it won't be effective.I’m not familiar with Hygrowzyme.
The expiration is an issue with ordering more gal. jugs.
Can’t use the 2.5 gal. in time.
How can you tell? )
Sounds like it’s worth checking out.Unfortunately I don't have a test for it as I'm not sure food source. I'm assuming ammonia because of the decaying organic matter it eats but I can't say for sure. If it's older than 6 months I'm fairly certain it won't be effective.
Hygrowzyme are enzymes basically bacteria in a sense. Bacteria produce enzymes, it's these enzymes that break down the nutrients. Also enzymes have no shelf life. As long as they don't become denatured.
Yeeeeeeaaa buddyGettin’ my fix now!
My last run i ran hygrowzyme and only had enough HG for the first application. But yes both would be ideal if ya can choke back the costSounds like it’s worth checking out.
Your running HG in conjunction with
Hygrowyzme?
I’m going to give it a try, says reduces the amount of HG needed too.My last run i ran hygrowzyme and only had enough HG for the first application. But yes both would be ideal if ya can choke back the cost
With silica I would ph down to 6.2 before adding nutrients to make sure there is not precipitate. The uc has been running 24 hrs, added Silica and HG last night.
I’m moving solos in today.
Here’s my starting point, I changed to TDS scale, EC showed .01.View attachment 9543
Chiller is not on yet.

I guess I’m not familiar with this? I understand the definition. With silica I would ph down to 6.2 before adding nutrients to make sure there is not precipitate.
Good stuff. What temp are your clones at? Try pressing the rockwool in to the middle. Important to prevent air pruningThe clones in plugs are still mixed results.
I have noticed the clones in the rw are doing fine, rooter clones wilted.
I’m wondering if the rw fitting snug vs. stuck in a rooter, possible air gaps? Not the right term, but....
In the mean time, I’ve neglected my Berry’s messing with the clones.
Pulled the dome, live or die, seedlings were not progressing.
I’m picking my Pheno Hunt entry now, she’s the one hunkered down.
You can tell which ones are rw clones.

Here’s a last shot of the gang in solos, they’ve picked up a little?
Headin for the show!View attachment 9544
The Grape Pupil is doing good, I think.
Seems to like the fluorescent for chillin, I’m going to move it in with the uc, thinking a vert in a corner?

The fogger clones are looking good, no show yet.
The ph has stayed solid since I set this up. Airstones get a bad rap, sometimes.

Ahh perfect then don't ph downI guess I’m not familiar with this? I understand the definition.
What would cause this to be an issue?
If I knock the ph down prior, I’ll have to ph up after adding nutes?
Currently, when adding nutes, it pretty much hits my target ph.
It’s warm, they never got their own gauge. )Good stuff. What temp are your clones at? Try pressing the rockwool in to the middle. Important to prevent air pruning
We’ll see how it settles once mixed, thanks for the heads up.Ahh perfect then don't ph down
